Lying up a half mile private drive, to the North of Craobh Haven Marina Village, in a small wood on the shore there is a stone cottage nearby but it is very secluded.
Beachcomber is a timber and tile, heavily insulated and mostly double glazed building with fine sea views and its own little beach where small boats can be launched at high tide.
It looks south towards the Marina and the islands of Scarba and Jura and North to the isle of Mull.
There is a gravel path around the building and a large gravel parking area to help keep dirt to a minimum. With a covered veranda on one side and a large wooden deck at the front equipped with outside furniture there is a possibility of much fresh air living.

About the cottage
- Open plan living room and kitchen. with a Morso wood stove and fine leather recliner sofa and chairs.
- TV with DVD but no WiFi although often 4G signal which can provide communication for those with data allowance.
- Bluetooth Soundbar
- Dining area with table and chairs
- Kitchen is well equipped with gas hob, eye level electric oven, tall fridge freezer, microwave, such things as hand blender, caffetier, toaster and electric kettle etc. There is a slimline dishwasher.

- Service cupboard has a vacuum, iron and ironing board.
- Back door to the terrace leads to a very small laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
- There are two bedrooms, one double with ensuite shower room and one twin/double with separate bathroom. Both bedrooms are carpeted and have hanging space, mirrors and hairdryers.
- A gas combi boiler provides central heating and water to one of the bathroms. The rest of the hot water is provided by electric immersion

- It is a short walk to the small shop and excellent pub and restaurant at Craobh Haven but this is busy with yachts in season and booking is recommended. The boat trips from the Marina are a special experience especially with the famous whirlpool and the white tailed eagles.

Driving directions to Beaccombers
Beachcombers is reached from Craobh Haven you do not need to go towards Lunga Estate. Turn into the village and just after the Memorial cross on your right is a road signposted toward Mowi and Buide Lodges. Take this right but go straight on through a gate again slightly right follow the shore line and Beachcombers is on your left.
