Stuart MacDougall, killed WWI query as this man has a VC? Only VC's I can find is, Robert James Lindsay 1832 - 1901. Youngest child of General James and Anne ( nee Trotter) One of first VC's awarded for bravery in Achon on 20th Sept 1854 at Battle of Alma Crimea were he fought witht he Scots Fusiiers later became Lord Wantage. or John Aidan Liddell Holder of VC 3rd Bn The Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders and Royal Flying Corps on La Panne, Belgium, 31 July 1915 born : Newcastle-upon-Tyne, 3 August 1888 Grave:Basingstoke Old Cemetery any relation?? |
