JOBS AVAILABLE ON LUNGA ESTATE

1. Each Saturday cleaning and changing the linen in the self catering cottages and flats.
2. Daily cleaning of communal areas, Ironing, hoovering, arranging flowers, polishing floors, filling firebaskets.
3. During the season we hold a number of functions, from dinners to weddings.
   There will be help needed cleaning and serving at table.

More information We have both summer work and the prospect of longer term employment available.
Wages depend very much on circumstances but can never, in a remote country area, compare with what can be earned in the city.
We do include most board and lodging, for summer staff, pay their bus fares from the south after a months work and pay £120 for a 40 hour week.
There are opportunities, functions, weddings and extra busy times when we may have to work longer hours. This can be at £5 per hour or time off later.
Often our staff choose to take 3-4 day breaks to join a yacht or travel round Scotland.
With 2 local Marinas, several small hotels and bars, craft business, shops and many other activities there is a varied group of young people and a strong tradition of sporting and party scene. There is also a great deal of work and our guests always come first. We expect people to work Saturdays, throughout the season and split shift when required: so time off is almost always mid-week. We hope for people who will take responsibility and act hostly. We will pay extra for special talents such as computer skills, book-keeping, reception, cooking, needlecraft, etc.

We have a wonderful old house, a maze of tangled garden and several miles of glorious coastline to maintain.
