Collaig Pottery

Collaig pottery make very distinctive decorated brightly coloured earthenware, it has a touchy feely quality.
All the pottery is hand thrown on the potters wheel, and then painted with lashings of colour
We make the full range of tableware, and many interesting and unusual gifts, that as well as being an intruiging souvenir of Argyll, can also be seen in some galleries.
We can be found in the gift shop in Ardfern, as well as at Collaig pottery, just 7 minutes walk from the pub. We can undertake some commisions:

	Cup and ring pattern		Green Iris cachepot

	Flounder		Lunga: Reflects our fascination with Argyll's recent paast, and present. We paint horses mowing the hay, girls milking cows. Tarbert fishing sciffs, scythes, butterchurns and flocks of unruly hens in the fields- just like it really is. They are painted in a Delft style blue on white and can be personalized.
